don't let the thread get out of hand with conroe debates again. for the record: in my opinion there is no single reliable source of information until one of those processors is sitting in my pc.

Don't say, "AMD is better for gaming" since that is a false statement. A company being a company isn't going to have any effect on gaming performance. It's about the architecture of the processor.
true the architecture is what made it better but it is also true that AMD's processors have basically been superior in gaming since the K6-2 and K6-3 along with the original Athlon's.
