Default Built my first comp and ran 3dmark05!

Ok well I finished my first computer build. My hardware is in my sig

I ran 3dmark05 and my score was 5106 at 1280x1024 resolution. Is this about average or a litte below or a little high or what?

thats pretty good... actually it could be considered "above average." you have a nice solid build.

Thanks, I'm loving it so far. But I cant find a program that gives me acurate tempeture readings for my cpu. Im assuming its beause they arent compatible with dual core processors. I tried Everest professional and home edition (both gave me cpu temps of 70) and I tried motherboard monitor (gave me a tem of -29). Do you know any tempeture monitoring programs I could use?

My next thing is to OC the video card.

Did some mild overclocking on my card and my 3dmark05 score is up to 6311!! I'm very pleased with that.

Go into the BIOS and check there for temperatures.

Nice increase with the OC and congrarts on your first build. You are now destined to spend the rest of your life upgrading it.
