Default Building a nice video editing machine- suggestion????

If you were going to build a machine that would be a nice machine for doing some AVCHD video editing what would you suggest? This is kind of a survey I guess as to what would you put in it? Budget is around $2000

I would wait for the sandbridge cpus to come out. According to this the i7 2600K is in your budget and it's better than any cpu out there except the i7 980x in some cases but costs a lot less.

Nop, just giving a suggestion... It's his choice to follow it or not. But I'm not stopping giving suggestions just because I don't agree with you...
