Default Build list

Got some help from you guys a while ago and while I have been busy lately my computer build got put to the side, but here is what I have in my shopping cart right now and wanted to have someone look at it and make sure everything will work out properly. I am concerned about the Mobo working with the graphics card and would like to make sure I get the right components.

And a little refresher for what it will be for, it is an office computer that will have autocad, solidworks etc on it and I am wanting to use 3 monitor (thus that particular graphics card)

And if anyone has good recomendations for monitors, I will take those as well. I would like 1 24" for the main drawings and 2 - 19" standard (not widescreen) monitors, one for each side. I know specs don't mean a whole lot as far as monitors go, but I really like my laptops 17" HD bright view monitor. Looks like a high quality glossy photo to me.

I would like to put the order in before I leave work today if everything looks good.

Thanks,

John

Thanks guys, I got the 2 Seagate HDs (one is the perpendicular recording one) and I swapped out for the other recommendations as well.

So will my motherboard work with my video card? That is the main thing that is still questionable to me. They were recommended in my other thread to specifically go with each other, but it looks like the video card takes a different slot than the mobo has. I'd rather get the right stuff the 1st time and not have to be sending stuff back.

Your motherboard will work with your video card. PCI Express 2.0 x16 is backwards compatible with PCI Express x16.

Thanks,
Is there anything else you can think of that I might need to put this together? Any cable that isn't included etc?

I'll be here about another 20 min and if i don't hear from anyone, I will go ahead and submit the order.

No, you're set, unless you want to buy an optional Static Waistband, but if you hold on to the Metal Part of the Case for a while, you don't have to worry about giving your parts a static shock

Thanks,
Got it all ordered. I got a $4 wristband too.
I'll probably have some questions next week, but thanks again for all the help.
