Kinda a two part question here...
1. When I watch dvds on my PC if I make it full screen its gets all grainy and pix-elated (watching on a 23" monitor, 5ms, 1mill:1 contrast). This there something I can do to improve that?

2. On the same topic I'm thinking about getting a Blue-ray drive for my PC. Would playing dvd's in a Blue-ray drive help? Will like look better? Will playing blue-rays in a Blue-ray drive look better on my PC?

Also I'm really not sure what to look for in a Blue-ray drive so looking for some input on which one to get...would prefer to purchase from newegg.

THanks!

A blu-ray drive is a blu-ray drive. Your monitor must support HDCP (I think that's the term) in order for blu-rays to play on your computer with out breaking any laws. Any DVD will look grainy/pixelated on a 23 inch wide screen due to resolution, a DVD is 480P/I or close to that, most monitors are way above that resolution, so yes, a Blu-Ray WILL look better on your monitor compared to a DVD.
