Had my X2 4000+ running @ 2.3ghz 24/7 with stock voltage and stock heat sink. Although this is when I know next to nothing about overclocking.

If its Brisbane expect 2.7~3.00ghz out of it. If it is a 90nm Windsor, 2.7ghz is probably your ceiling.

hmmm 2.3GHz?

ill put all my specs of the comp up once i get it up and fired tomorrow if i pluged it all in right :]

Why on earth would you want 16Gb? lol I would try to get your hands on 4GB and you will be good. 2 will do you just fine too.

Your mobo most likely has 4 DIMM slots which means that to get 16GB you will need 4GB DIMM in each and last time I checked there is no such thing as a cheap 4GB DIMM lol. Settle for 1 or 2 GB.
