Default trying to choose a wireless keyboard/mouse

Hi. I am trying to pick out a quality (but affordable) wireless keyboard/mouse for my relatively new computer. I am intrigued by these two logitech wireless combos:

LX 710 Wireless Mouse/Keyboard

MX 3200 Wireless Mouse/Keyboard

Anyone who has had first-had expierence with either of these would be a great help. I am a little turned off by the microsoft combos due to their mice. They seem flimsier to me and I'm not crazy about the looseness of the mouse wheels. I will be using this keyboard a lot so I want to make sure I choose the right one. It also needs to have a range of at least 8 feet. Thanks for any help you can give!

i have the mx 5000 keyboard and mx 1000 mouse, i use them for my laptop when its on my desk, they arn't bad but setpoint has some conflicts with games, i know the keyboard can be like 40 feet away but im not sure about the mouse, prob about 10 feet.

I have the EX110 and it works awesome. Target had it for only $19.99.

I do not game, so maybe that is why I think it is so awesome!
