Smile Some general questions

Hello all,

Just wondering whether anybody is aware of the motherboard that comes pre-installed with the E-System 203A.

Also wondering what Graphics card you would reccommend me getting to suitably justify my needs with my new Dell 24" at 1920 x 1200. It will be used moderate gaming, nothing too strenuous.

Also, I am pretty new to this whole builing thing so was wondering what you could tell me about Graphics cards and Mobo compatibility. If you are aware of the mobo pre-installed with the E-System 203A - ideally it could be used with that?

I am on a small budget, not too sure how much, but would be looking for the most value for money lower-end card available.

I'm in the UK

Thanks in advance, sorry about nooby questions lol :P

*update* I was thinking about this Graphics Card, what do you think, is it reliable?
nVidia GeForce 8400 GS 256MB PCI-E Graphics Card.

If you are getting a new system, just build it yourself. You will save lots of money. The 8400GS is a POS card, and PC World is an absolute ripoff for components. Components are available for much cheaper prices at:

cclonline.com - PC Pro Online Retailer of the Year 2007
Overclockers UK
Ebuyer - Cheap Computers, Laptops, Digital Cameras, TVs & more!
Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK

what sort of games are you planning on playing?

Hi, thanks for the PC World warning, I'll buy elsewhere.

I will probably only be playing Battlefield 2142

The 8400GS will not be enough for that game at that res. Im selling my X1950PRO for £40 so you could consider that.

Doing this Folding@home - Main on a graphics card instead of a CPU. Graphics cards are very quick at it.
