If you just want a new case, buy a new case and transfer everything in to that one.

I would keep it and use it for parts. Come October get a new case and upgrade the cooling system. Then come christmas/early next year, upgrade the Mobo and the processor. Then next upgrade to SLI with a couple of new video cards.
No point in selling a HD, DVD burner, Memorey only to buy it back

You guys keep telling him to get a new case but you overlook the small fact that Compaq tends to use proprietary mobos and PSUs; a regular case won't work.

Regardless, I'd still save your HD, Floppy and optical drives, and whatever else you can.
