Default Processor Socket Question

Out of curiousty, but is there any hope for updating a comps processer if it had one of these "". Into something better that is.

are you kidding? You can get an FX-62 in that thing.

But, being the skeptic I am, are you sure you have a socket AM2 motherboard? Or did you just pull up the first sempron 3200 that you saw?

This is my processor. I got alot of comps. But the AMD I bought was a cheap $300 computer. lol, so I have been twinking around with it. Seeing the limits of it. I was surprised when I found a PSI-Express slot.

I had no faith in this comp at 1st. But starting to like it. Although I still have higher exspecs. Got to build me another machine sometimes. Very fun.

I am good at comps, but still got alot to learn. If the question looked absurd.. .. lol, there is prob gonna be some more questions bordering it. Thx for the reply. Gave me some confidencein this machine
