OR, go with PCI-E and thy new King of midrange-performance the 6800GS!

I have a topic in here about replacing the 5500. It was a good video card for the nearly 2 years I have had it.....but, I am finding that it is just not up for playing these next gen games. It runs F.E.A.R..but just barely. It wont run AoEIII at all, and I did not buy the new BF because of this video card and it's inablity to run these newer games at a level I/we want. It runs WoW fairly flawlessly but with 90% of the bells and whistles turned of, and for me this is a problem.

It looks like I will be going with the 6800 (more investigation needed) and I'm praying it will play Oblivion.

no, 6600gt for me, I'm going to upgrade it anways, so no point in spending more.

@Brenhan, ok, cool thanks for info. That made my decision even more clearer now, I'm not getting that card.
