Need advice for a graphics card

So I got COD MW2 (yay!) and I was really sore when I noticed that it's laggy on my computer.
I'm not a serious gamer, and I just have a Compaq Presario cq50 notebook PC.. help. What should I get to help this game run better? The computer is a little over a year old and I have no issues with it, and I love it.
I want to play my game! Agh.
I hope someone can help me. Do I need more RAM, a graphics card? I know some things about computers but not when it comes to laptops.

Don't put your email in your post.

That pre-built notebook doesn't support installing a mobile graphics card. You're stuck with what you have unfortunately. However if you have just been playing online, it could be network lag since IW decided to make the ridiculous move of removing dedicated servers and having players host their own games. Apparently no one has had a decent non-lagging game yet on PC.

MW:2 is really bad for the PC
From what I've experienced gaming on a laptop isn't that great man, they get very hot and the hardware usually just isn't built for it

Anyway you can save up for a desktop?
