Default This memory compatible with this motherboard?

I'm looking at a corsair DDR2 667, and a motherboard with memory standard DDR2 800.

I understand DDR2 is a new memory standard, and I presume that a 667 can work with an 800 because the motherboard is just faster. Am I correct? Will they be compatible?

Also, is a 240 pin memory for intel?

They will be compatible, but the memory will only run at 667.

Any DDR2 240 pin ram will work in the boards. Just different speeds can be supported (some boards do not supply as much voltage)
