Looking to upgrade GPU

I haven't been keeping track of what good cards that are out lately so I'm looking to upgrade my GPU I was using 2x "Albatron PC6800GT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16" in SLI but it burnt out on me so I'm looking for something that is better then both of these cards performance/graphics wise, my budget is around $300-$500 any recommendation??

You either get the HD 2900Pro or the 8800GTS 320MB, which are below $300 now.

Yea. eVGA 8800gts 320mb or ati's HD2900Pro. Both within you're price range and top of the line.

Does anyone know where the 2900PRO's are in stock? If I was planning on upgrading as well, would it be better to wait for the new line of cards that should be coming out by most developers soon (4th quarter), or just buy now?

But yea, I agree with Peter and Bigapl, 2900PRO would be the best bang for the buck along with the 320mb 8800GTS.
