I burned out my old 475 socket Mobo and thought about upgrading.

Need your opinions. I wlll be using my old IDE HD, dvd burner, and case.

I need your advise and any compatibility issue on these three. Thanks.

I'll be using this computer mostly for photoshop cs3, microsoft word, surfing the net, and email.

Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16813128076

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16819115032

RAM: http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16820227078

Total comes out to be $205 Which I think is a great price for the upgrade.

Sorry for the link:

Here it is again:

Mobo: Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-945GCM-S2C LGA 775 Intel 945GC Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

CPU: Newegg.com - Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 Allendale 2.4GHz 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor - CPUs / Processors

RAM: Newegg.com - OCZ Gold Series 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

I don't need a gpu, i won't be gaming on this rig. Integrated video is just fine.

As far as the power supply, I'll be using the one on my old computer. 350W. That enough to power what I got going? I know it has dual 12V rails. But it isnt a highend company power supply. But its been holding up fine before my old mobo failed.

Also I don't mind getting a lower end CPU, meaning an Intel Celeron dual-core, instead of a C2D. Which will probably save me 50 dollars. Any good suggestion on CPU rather than a c2d? Like stated above, word doc, simply photoshop cs3, emailing, surfing the net, youtube. etc. thanks
