as long as your old computer is newer than say 8 years old the keyboard and mouse should be compatable with the new computer.

So you get that for $1,464.40, then if you need a keyboard or mouse I'd suggest getting these:
Logitech G5 Mouse - 50$

Saitek Illuminated Keyboard - 50$

So all that plus shipping is going to go over your 1600$ budget, but you'll have some very happy kids. If your budget is strict to under 1600$, then you could take out the Soundblaster X-Fi soundcard and put in a soundblaster Live!
and take out the mouse/keyboard, and you'd be saving 180$.
