hello- first build

hello - i need help with a computer build i am looking to do soon, it is my first one and while i am pretty sure i know how to put it together i am having a problem picking out parts
first- tech level: most around me say i am tech savy and i can build a computer, put in ram, and do basic html... but compared to most on this forum... i'm a noobie

anyways for my build i have a budget of $550-$650

Is there anything i should add/get rid of? I am looking to run Mass effect 2, and possibly Battlefield 3 later on this year, while i am not looking for super graphics i dont want 5fps...

i'm really no big techie, but will the 1155 cpu be compatible with the 1156 mobo? correct me if i'm wrong peeps

hiney to answer your question no it will not work. and gojomoso that cpu will not work with that motherboard. you might as well look at the new 1155 socket motherboards.
