Default Dual boot XP/Unbutu 12.04

Title says all. i can't seem to get my computer to ask me what to start first provided that they are on two separate drives one is on a 250gb Sata Drive and the other is a 80gb IDE. any help?-

Are there multiple boot managers on the disks? Try installing GRUB
Installing GRUB using grub-install - GNU GRUB Manual 2.00~rc1

What exactly are you trying to do? I'm not sure I understand what you mean?

I fixed it i just had to switch HD Boot priority to the Linux Drive First
