Default can video cards work for all computers?

HI,

well i'm thinking about getting a new video card, but i was wondering, how do i know if i have AGP or PCI slot? my friend said i have AGP because i have an old computer..and i saw on the internet that AGP slots are brown and PCI slots are white..

Download CPU-Z 1.44.2 - FileHippo.com

Most old motherboards will have AGP.
