can anyone help me pick a new processor

ok I have decided to wait on getting a new mobo until i really need it. So I want to get a new processor I really have no idea what to get, right now I have a socket 939 3500+ and its fine but I do alot of multitaking when I am playing games like playing my music and chatting on the net with people and when I am doing that I get lag. So I was thinking that a dual core would help me out with this problem what would be a good processor to look at getting? I have socket 939 and about $140, a little lower would be nice but thats fine if its $140 but I can't go over that thanks for your help

Just sell your 3500 and pop in a 3800X2. That will definetly help with multi-tasking.

I got some extra money so I was looking around what about these to would either of these be good? or is there something better for the same price or should I just stick with the 3800?

I am just trying to save some money and still get something faster then what I have or should I go with the ones above or just find a 3800

i've heard that as well. along the lines that the 165-170 are the best overclockers that amd has.
either opteron would probably keep your rig going pretty strong for another year plus.
