If you want to get new ram I recomend DDR2 800/Pc6400... And it will be more than 80 pounds (D@mn English lol) to get a decent stick... But you could just stick with Skt 939

I agree with above... Stick with the S939... it'll still be around for a good while, and it's still a fast CPU. If your not into the whole "look what I have this month" thing and not worried so much about how much you can overclock, then stick with something that is compatable with your parts now... You can save up for a new machine come the next gen or later...

there's that asrock AM2 motherboard that has 2 ddr slots and 2 ddr2 slots... but i can't find it on newegg...
