do some reading before you just 'post'. You obviously didn't try to look yourself.

6800XT is a crippled 6800 card sporting 8 pipelines and varying amounts of memory.

6800GT is the older model of a higher end 6*** series card with 16 pipes and 256mb of GDDR3, I think.

6800GS is the revised semi-new 6800 series card that has 12 pipes, but is a revised version. It performs on par(-ish) with the 6800GT.

for realz. That 6800gt cost $340. Look here is a 7800gt for only $265 after mail in rebate.

I looked at cards of each type and they all had diff clock speeds n pipelines, but i just figured taht it varied from card to card, not gpu. So it seems like GS is my best buy, help me choose between these 2:

not looking at price, one has lower clock speeds but has better reported 3dmark05 scores

I somehow feel as if the 6800XT's performance is on par with the 6600GT's.

6800XT<6800<6800GS<6800GT

The only real card worth buying out of the four is the 6800GS, maybe the 6800XT if you want lower end gaming.
