I found this while browsing around Google.

You found Baghdad??

WOW you did what 63% of people your age cannot do.....find Iraq on a map of the Middle East... according to The National Geographic.
lol j/k.

Funny things like that happen with water... I've seen all different colours of water, But imagine if it was blood, you would have to kill hundred's of thousands of animals a day for 100's of years to do that.

It couldn't be blood anyway. All of the vampires in the world would have been there with beach chairs, umbrellas and bloody mary's...

lol ! woot!

I am sure it reeks of putrefaction.

Think of the maggot build up.

It would be cool if the whole thing scabbed over and you could walk on it.

come on guys...this is NOT blood. don't be so gullible. first of all, if you keep zooming out, it suddenly becomes the same color as the other bodies of water. the photo is digitally altered to show chemically-polluted water. europa maps (which as the rights to use google maps) digitally colors certain bodies of water in some places to indicate sea water, drinkable water, and chemically-polluted water. they are usually colored blue, green, and RED
