like ryan said, ftp is simply for transferring philes...

i'm gettin bored these days and i was wondering if anyone has any cool ideas for doing stuff with computers. i don't care if its fiddling around over a LAN or whatever. what are some unique things that you have done to you computer.

well; thought it was always fun to decrypt and copy dvds that you purchase to your hd. if you have a laptop, you can re-compress them with divx and take your entire dvd collection anywhere w/out playing around with a stack of discs.
