Last Nov (2012) I upgraded from my AMD X2 3800 system which I built in 2009. It's a Celeron (G540) system and the parts are new except for the HDD and the DVD-RW I pulled from the AMD system.

Then month by month I upgraded my new system with better and faster parts til I got a whole another system. Now the Celeron system is like it was in Nov.

I want to sell the Celeron system but there's two things wrong with it. One, The HDD is 4 years old (WD Green) but still running and fully formatted with Vista 32. Two, the DVD-RW (Lite-On) still works but the tray sticks and has to be opened with a paper clip. If it has a CD/DVD in it it'll open and close just fine.

I could keep it as it's a good system but they'll become old hat in no time won't they?

If I sell it as it is it won't be worth much won't it?

Another option I have is give it to someone and quit worrying about it.

I'd feel better making it a gift rather than lose a hunnert. Got some pretty good parts in there, Asrock MoBo, Gskill mems, Corsair PSU, Celeron CPU and a nice case. :)
