Rebate

I ordered a flash drive from Radioshack because it had some rebates... But I didn't like the flash drive, and I returned it. But I already had sent in the rebates, and I just got the rebate in today for $20.00... If I cash the check, what happens afterwards... will they send me a notice saying that I returned it and I need to refund the $20.00?

I dont know how that manufacturer works, but I did a similar thing with a motorola product and nothing ever happened with it.
