PS3 pricing and release date revealed

It will come out November 11th in Japan, and November 17th in the US, Europe, and Australia.

$500 for the 20GB Hard Drive, "Standard" PS3.

$600 for the 60GB Hard Drive, "retailer-configured" PS3.

$300 Xbox 360 to $500 PS3. Hmm, will have to see how the PS3 does to see it it'll be worth it. Supposed to have a integrated PPU and stuff, and ofcourse the PS3 is a much more powerful system than the X360, but still to early to speculate.

Im going to wait for the Wii and ps3 to come out then compare the performance to price ratio of all 3 (360 to ps3 to wii)and thats how Im making my mind up I might also take into consideration what games are to be made for the sytem as well...

Im a fanby for Sony So Il be getting the PS3...Keep in mind my vote is completly Biased...

Yeah, I'm kind of biased towards the playstation series as well. Mainly because they have a MASSIVE amount of games for it

I will still get a PS3. But I might wait a little bit.
1. I got other things that I am currently putting money aside for this year.
2. Price to drop.
3. For sony to iron out all the first release production bugs.

Doesnt the ps3 play HD DVD...Id say its worth it. Better 3rd party games too.

If I even get a next-gen console it'd be the Wii, but most likely I'm not going to get any of them. The ability to play old nes/snes roms is cool but I can also hook up my lappy to my tv and have pretty much the same thing.
