The single only works one way.
PC --> TV


IF you are trying to get TV --> PC, you need to purchase one of the following :-
1. TV Tuner Card
2. Video Capture Card.

I would suggest to get a TV tuner card that allows to capture video and also allow to hook it up to the TV.
