Where can I get a good FREE anivirus program

Hello all,

I want to find out where I can download the best FREE antivirus software?

Im tired of paying annual fees for the subscriptions.

You will proberly get a mixture of responses from different members as there is no one certain 'best free anti virus'. It is all down to preference.

I recommend Bitdefender or Avast.

Defenitely agree with Jam3s-Zer0. Avast is good, and i'm sure Bitdefender is good.

Never go with Norton, McAfee, or AVG.

bit defender is my favorite free anti virus I personally dont mind AVG just has a poor GUI.

Dont forget their poor detection rates.

I never had too much of a problem with their detections they found enough, although they had trouble removing what they found.

i don't know if my thing works or not because i've never actually been affected, maybe once but i removed it my self, but it's Nod32

and I had it on a cd from a friend so I don't know if it's free or not, it's been awhile since i installed it
