PLEASE help pop ups for http://www.registrycleaner32.com

just today i got these pop ups for the site http://www.registrycleaner32.com
http://www.updatepatch.info/
and some other sites that redirects to
http://www.registrycleaner32.com.

I was wondering if there is anything really wrong with my computer or if this is some scam to get me to buy there software. Also the pop up says that my registry is corrupted. It pops up even when i am not on the net. I just ran norton and came up wit 4 trojans in my email that all got quarintined. Can someone help me wit this problem.

Use Firefox instead of IE, download spywareblaster use it, download spybot Search and destroy update it and scan with it.

i do use firefox and i scanned with spybot already

then download hijackthis, run it, adaware SE personnel, update run that, and make sure ur keep updating windows, and do spywareblaster.

yeah i have all those and use them. but maybe i have found the problem. My brother moved away a few months ago for college. At that point we had been using a router. But since we only need one computer i dont use a router anymore. I just learned that a router also protects your computer better. Is that true? if so should i use the router?

Yes it is true, routers are basically a bigger better firewall. I would use a router even if u only had 1 comp anyways its safer. and also you could just use the built in windows firewall with it.

also delete your history, cookies and internet files.
