Should I uninstall Ad-Aware/Ad-Watch and BitDefender for AVG to replace them as a whole? Been looking around this forum and the consesus places AVG to be the "best" AV/ASW application around... should I use for my firewall, av, and spyware all-in-one or juggle between some others?

Been out of the AV/SpyWare loop for years...

Thanks!

I used to be a big AVG fan, but the new version seemed to slow my computer dramatically so I went with Avast instead. Seems to be working MUCH better.

EDIT: Answered own question by using *shock horror* Google!

But I do have one left: Is AVG's 3-pack (Firewall, Anti-Spyware, AV) the "best" in all three field or should I mix and match with other programs?

I would keep the others around just in case. Maybe just disable any features of the two that might run in the background to protect you.

You never know when you might need them, so I would keep them around just to be on the safe side.

the new avg 8 with spyware is not impressive...thats wat i feel personally....the feel itself isnt catchy...i stick to avg 7.5 free
