I find 2 similar topics using Google and both are from the last 24 hours, so this seems fairly new.

Have a computer on my network with a strange redirect going on. Every time Google or Yahoo is accessed, Firefox is redirected to photo7li.com. Happens if you browse directly to the site....site will load for a few seconds, then redirects. Or if you use the firefox default search. You can complete a search and it will load results, but it redirects after a few seconds.

IE does not display this issue and if I change Firefox search provider to Bing (or anything besides yahoo or google) it works fine. Seems to just be those two providers.

All computers on network run current AVG Network edition and (so far) this is the only one doing this.

Any suggestions other than the usual battery of scans?

Will try that.

Would it be the search plugin if I get the same result if I go directly to google.com or yahoo.com? If I do that, it redirects that way as well.

Just curious how the two could be tied together.

It may be hijacked but not sure yet. Remove it, then do a search and see if it still redirects you.

I'll give it a shot as soon as I can get the user out of their office for a few minutes.

Will report back.....

removed the search engines from firefox and tried going directly to google and yahoo. Still redirects to the same site.

Noted. Will get this done ASAP and post logs.

Should I post that here or on the HTJ sub forum?

OK, here we go -
