Why is hotmail locking up my computer?

I've actually noticed this too. I haven't done too much diggin into it, but I believe it has to do with the way logging into hotmail on the internet brings up msn messenger on your local computer.

I also think the lag associated with hotmail is due to their "improved" system. The 250 MB is very nice, but when it takes a good 5-10 min to even view your e-mails it's just not worth it.

Yeah, I think that this is about when I started having the problems! Its still having problems but hasn't locked up on me in the last couple of days. It is reeeeeeaaaaaal slow, though .
