What is Error 404

First time i encountered it...what does it mean? how do i go about to the missing website?

The 404 or Not Found error message is a HTTP standard response code indicating that the client was able to communicate with the server but the server could not find what was requested. 404 errors should not be confused with "server not found" or similar errors, in which a connection to the destination server could not be made at all.

It basically means that when you try to go to a website that the page is not available.

Generally if it is just a problem with a server it will be back up shortly.

Or it's a file that that been indexed by the search engine but has been removed since or the link is invalid.
