I had a 'porn site' plague my 'Home page' setting for ages.

I deleted 'cookies', 'history', 'temporary internet files', 'user data', 'temp' & 'downloaded program files'.

I went to:

Start > Run > Regedit

searched the registry using 'find' for the offending name and deleted any enters. Also searched for 'homepage' and examined entrys.

Went to:

Start > Run > MSCONFIG > Start-Up

while referring to the website 'http://www.3feetunder.com/krick/startup/list.html' I unchecked all offending items.

I them used 'find' to search my computer for the offending 'website' and offending items from 'Start-Up' to delete them.

I performed all 'scans' with many 'scanners' and got rid of the crap.

I then used 'Spyware Blaster' to set my homepage.

I have all 'auto-completes' disabled in all my applications.

Used a well known batch file 'delindex.bat' to truely get rid of all my surfing habits.
