Log looks decent - nothing really standing out except for the 2 toolbars:
Ask Toolbar and Google Toolbar
Uninstall those from Programs & Features
I'd suggest running MBAM once more as well.
Also make sure you manually uncheck the Proxy box again, in case it's checked.
After that, see if Chrome is working or not. If not...you can always try reinstalling it to see if something was corrupted.
