I wouldn't use it anymore,just about every other file has a virus in it,Try limewire i find it's alot better.

I have AV 2005 so wouldnt it popup if a file has a virus? where do you get limewire from?

The viruses ain't spread by the P2P programs - they're spread by the users. You'll get virii on any P2P prog you use.
