Gah I hate my internet, even with a megaupload premium MAX I get is 500kbs.

Yea it's just the max speed.
Like if you look at the connection thing on a wired connection it'll usually say something like " connected at 100mb/s" but I doubt it actually goes that speed for very many people
(interesting thing though..I read about some old lady that had a line directly from the ISP to her house and she had a 40gb/s connection speed :| then it said she only used the internet to read news articles lol)
