yeah it wouldn't be that hard to find it though. just search on google tons of people have this, you could even try p2p and find it.

I tried WinSockFix.exe,

I should have realised IE7 is for XP only,

downloading IE6 haults at around 8500,

removing IE from Zone Alarm and configuring it again did not work,

shutting down Zone Alarm & connecting without protection stopped the dnserror.htm message but IE timed out (I also got a few Nasties in less than a minute),

reverting to IE4 from within my machine is not an option as I deleted IE4 files all together shortly after I knew IE6 was stable.

So I have deleted as far as humanly possible all IE instances off of my computer, I don't really care now about up-dates since I'm on Win 98, my computer will sure fail altogether pretty soon as I have had it for over 8 years with no up-grades, reformatting or trips to the computer repair shop.
