It was RC1. I waited on it so as to get a feel of what it would really be like.
Yeah, you just go to add/remove and uninstall it. But it took iertutil.dll with it... as well as a whole lot of Windows functionality. You can't boot Windows without iertutill.dll I discovered, not even Safe Mode.
Were it not for ERD Commander and its option for System Restore, I'd would have been royally screwed. But, even then, I couldn't use system restore in Windows. Nor could I do a repair of Windows. Doing either gave me BSoDs... weird ones associated with memory and such.
Basically, use at your own risk. If you like it, great. If you don't, just don't uninstall it.
