Embedded .mp3

I am haveing a problem. I am embedding a .mp3 into a clients page. When I preview it it plays with quicktime. I want it to play with windows media player. I have set media player to play all types of exts. and it still plays with quicktime. Can someone please help me with this. I am makeing the page with dreamweaver and I have the newest quicktime and just got media player 11. Please help me out if you can.

Hello,

You need to configure MIME types for Quicktime Player.

Start > Control Panel > QuickTime > Browser Tab > MIME Settings... Button > Uncheck MP3 > Then click ok, apply then ok...

You may need to restart the PC for changes to take effect.
