drop down bar

I know that you clear the history to get rid of the items in drop down bar, but how can you eliminate the drop down bar from holding information. i used to have it that way but can't remember how to get it back to where it doesnt even drop down.

IE 7...the tools are pretty much the same as the other ie's

Tools -> Internet Options -> Delete -> Delete Form Data.
