I have this problem with download. Im on a cable setup and recently rebooted my computer. Everytime i want to download somthing the download status window pops up with the time and download speed etc but sometimes it freezes. No matter how long i wait it wont continue until i try to download the same thing again then the download time will be shortened by a few seconds and then i have to keep on doing that until i download it. What is wrong? why does the download stop like that?

whats your physical network setup? is your modem directly connected to your machine?
