I'm a pre-med student but I'm also a rather experienced computer programmer, been doing it for some time now. Recently a friend of mine asked me to create a website for her. I'm not really new to web design at all, been doing it for some time as well. There are just two problems that I have, she is completely technology illiterate, and she wants to host the site not on her own server but through an internet hosting service. That would be fine except for the fact that the site is mainly a feedback one and she needs a database / way to retrieve and store the information. I run my own server, Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition, with an Oracle database on it. I really donÂ’t have much experience with deploying databases on remote servers. Any ideas on how to go about making it as simple as possible for her? Thanks for any advice.
