J Juice Daddy Fully Optimized Messages 1,706 Jul 6, 2005 #2 jumper settings on the back of the hd need to be set to slave http://www.removable-storage-guide.com/hard-drive-jumper-settings.shtml If there is an hd in the new pc then it should already be set to master, so the old one you are putting in needs to be set to slave

OP OP N n_3001 Solid State Member Messages 10 Jul 6, 2005 #3 Thanks for that, It doesn't have any hard drive at the moment. I just want to put this old hard drive on this new pc. So this hard drive its gonna be the master one. I will try with changing the jumper settings. Thanks for the help.
