make dvd player code free

hi guys,

i just bought a 15" PB (1,25). since I have dvd's from different regions, I'd be glad to hear from you how to 'unlock' my dvd-player... thanks a lot!

If your running OS X your gonna need the apple equivalent of libdvdcss.

Also there's a program available wriiten in C that can change the default region on a DVD drive, dunoo where I found it, but it shouldnt be too hard to find.Thats provided you can compile something in C on your machine, OS X its no problem. apple's other OS's I havent a clue.

Youll have to get a firmware change for your DVD drive. Im not exactly sure how this is done but Im sure Google can enlighten you.
