Re: " Don't do it, Steve!!!..."
Apple will NOT become a PC manufacturer. They have OS X, there is no need for them to ever distribute their computers with anything less. And if you read all of the articles, you would have known that the initial switch will be for the Mini, the iBook, and the PowerBook. The iMac and PowerMac will continue to use the IBM G5 indefinitely. I mean, right now, the only thing that Apple has going for them is the G5 and thats old news.
Apple knows what they're doing. Steve is an intelligent man and he's privy to all sorts of information that we can't even begin to know at this point.
ATIRAGEPRO said:2. Apple Computer will simply become PC manufacturers (This is bad for all those poor people who already broke serios bank on the G5 Macs in the first place. And we all know that Apple has a history of this sh*t, so there more than likeley going to make a complete switch and abandon everything else...)
For the love of GOD, it's only been 2 and one half years since they first started manufacturing with IBM, so lets hope they don't turn their back on them now.
