zone alarm(basic) and network

I have a Dell Latitude and a Dell Dimension(as posted in sig) both running XP as u can see. Zonealarm protects my dialup connection fine, but when i try to access the network(only between my 2 dell systems) i can't gain access unless i turn off zone alarm( i knew how to do this with the 15 day trial of pro) how do i get zonealarm to let me access my network without having to pay 50$ and upgrading to pro?

i dont have any experiance with zonealarm but it sounds like in the inital setup, you opted not to trust your local network.
but i could be wrong.

You have to go to the Firewall menu, and select the Zones tab, and then add the IP address of the computer trying to access your computer. Then ZoneAlarm will allow it.
