Wireless Question...

We're facing a relatively major problem... we're getting a new wireless system in and upgrading the security from WEP to WPA... however we have to reimage the 600 laptops we have... and the new wireless setup won't be purchased till a later date and it'd be incredibly beneficial to image the laptops within the next week...

If I manually add a wireless network with the SSID and WPA security password, then when we get the wireless network in and set up the SSID and WPA password accordingly, will the laptops auto-connect to the network?

if this is a windows domain, you should be able to push all the settings out through group policy.

but as far as putting the seetings into the image, that would work fine unless you have to make unexpexted changes. I guess it depends how well planed it is and how concrete the plans are.
