Wireless Lan with Bit Torrant

i dont use a router.
i have a pc downstairs which connects to the net using a dsl modem,and i have a wireless usb adaper on the pc which connects to my laptop through the wireless on my laptop

basically my pc is connected to the net,and my laptop is connected to my pc wirelessly,and the pc is feeding internet connection to my laptop through the wireless usb adapter.

tis quite confusing how its setup

I think you can only enable port forwarding if you have a router or something of that sort since it is in the deivces' configuration settings.
